The hostnames of the 12 routers are named after some of the streets in South Pasadena California.  This specific order is only for convenience, when you actually work labs, you will not usually log into them in this specific order.  Instead, you could follow the  router numbers for a specific lab. For example if Huntington is R1 and Arroyo is R2, if you log into them in that order, -then each time you suspend a telnet session, then the number 1 or 2 at Oxley would correspond to the router number for that lab.
